Ken Isaak's Resume

Vermeer Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of agricultural
and industrial equipment, supported me for three years by
appling my existing skills while providing avenues of expansion as
an Embedded Software Engineer. This exiting opportunity
started on July 11, 2011 and continued to August 21, 2014.
I enjoyed my time with Vermeer and am very grateful for the
opportunities they provided.

Optivus Proton Therapy,
provided employement from February 22, 2011 to March 25, 2011.
Optivus builds proton particle accelerators for cancer treatment.
The corporate website provides some nice information
about the technology. I had the opportunity to use
my skills with C++, Qt, and UML to write application software
for machine control on the accelerator.
This was a great opportunity, a great skill set match
and a group of people I enjoyed working with.
Rapidly changing business environments can provide many
opportunites. Unfortunatly I and a group of about a dozen
coworkers were asked to participate in a general lay off
to meet the needs of these business challenges.
I thoroughly enjoyed my month at Optivus and would work
with them again.

Nouvation Inc. was from May to September, 2010.
I worked on a record tracking tool
used to track laboratory reports in a hospital
setting. This tool was written in Visual Basic 6
for a 1099 contract.

MSC was 13 years, 1996 to 2009
MSC Software produces computer
aided engineering software that implements finite element
analysis for the manufacturing industries. Customers are
diverse: Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, Lego, Fender guitars,
Ford, GM and others.

Basically with MSC's product you would design something
using CAD, such as a connecting rod in an engine. Then
you would use the MSC software to assign it properties
(aluminum) and loads (say to model running the engine
at 10000 rpms) and MSC's product can be used to determine
the amount of deflection and or stretch in the rod, it it fails,
and maybe how it fails.

I was one of 5 senior engineers doing development and
maintenance on this type of product. This
